1957 BMW Isetta 300
This little bubble from history was at the American Legion’s car show in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
The Isetta played an important role in the post-World War II revival of BMW. It’s really good to see these little gems in the real world.
This one has a great father-and-son story. The father bought the car for only $12 in 1972. Recently, the son has performed a full body-off restoration.
I probably wouldn’t drive it much. But I would definitely put one of these in my garage if I had enough space and money.
