F100 Bumpside
This 1970 Ford F-100 belongs to Jim, who is a friend from the Cedarburg coffee scene. It is a perfect example of the kind of pickup I would put in my garage.
The 302 Windsor makes that great V8 burble. This truck has a three-speed automatic, which makes it ideal for towing.
I love the slim and sleek design from the early seventies. This vintage is called ‘bump side’ because of the convex 'bump' which extends the length of the body. The long horizontal speedometer echoes this design element. The white roof completes the look.
This is no garage queen. It’s a gem, but Jim uses it like a real truck. We should all use our vehicles for their designed purposes.
